This very established Event Management Business is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its small finance function. Key duties include:
We need an Accounts Assistant to be responsible for the Purchase Ledger and assist with sales ledger and general bookkeeping within the finance function.
* Perform reconciliations of bank accounts
* Manage and process Accounts Payable operation
* Match, check, code and process invoices
* Process staff expenses
* Set up of new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Filing invoices
* Data entry
* Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries- externally and internally
* Process all credit cards expenditure.
* Update all relevant accounting ledgers and journals.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Working knowledge of accounting terminology and procedures.
2. Strong systems knowledge
3. The ability to multitask.
4. Basic bookkeeping skills.
5. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
6. Effective communication skills.
7. Proven experience working as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, or similar role with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
