This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous experience within a workshop or engineering environment.The successful candidate will be involved in general engineering duties supporting the production teams.The jobBench Work:Debur partsDress parts through bead blasting and rubbing upDrilling, tapping, reaming and use of a jigsawMaintain tools on the benchDrawing documentationMaintenance of the vibro bowlOrganise and maintain correct use of part-done and completed items shelvingMaterials Checking In:Check dimensions, PO number, part number and contract numberCheck if certification number is requiredRecord all necessary information on part or drawingsPlace parts and documentation in correct locationsPallet controlGoods Inward Supporting FunctionAnswer the goods inwards buzzerBring in parcels and deliveriesDetermine correct action; record, store or inform Purchasing ManagerCleaning of PartsUse degreaser, washing up liquid, water and various thinnersMaintain cleaning station, tooling and equipmentKeep area clean and free of hazards/spillagesWaste management, including emptying bins and swarf are4aDispersal of compressor waterSupport in cleaning CNC machineMonitor tooling, consumables and equipmentNotify Purchasing Manager when swarf bins and liquid IBCs require collectionSupport packing of parts and materialsAbout youPrevious experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environmentExperience of using hand tools, grinders etcA positive and flexible attitude and able to work independentlyStrong attention to detailsIT Literate drawing knowledge ideallyTo apply in confidence, please send your CV to Tracey McDermott at TRF Technical a specialist division of The Recruitment Fix Ltd.TPBN1_UKTJ
