Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers / HGV Drivers / LGV Class 1 Drivers / LGV Drivers / Class 1 Drivers working on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Culina Stafford depot.

Requirements:
***12 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***

Working Hours:
* Ad Hoc – Temporary Shifts Available
Pay Rate:
* Monday – Friday Days and Nights: £17.37 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
* Saturday Days and Nights: £20.73 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
* Weekend Days and Nights: £21.85 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
About this role:
* Refrigerated work – Transporting goods in a chilled trailer at specific temperatures. Full training provided for operating chilled vehicles.
* Trunking – Driving on regular routes, including long-haul transportation between distribution hubs.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and health and safety regulations.
About You:
* Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence with at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
* No more than 6 points, no DD/DR code convictions.
* Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
* Understanding and ability to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
* Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and report defects correctly.
* Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
