KS1 SEN Learning Support Assistant – Enfield

Position - Full-time (Monday-Friday)

We’re working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Enfield looking for a dedicated KS1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a role where patience, empathy and consistency really count. You’ll be supporting children with additional needs at the very start of their school journey, helping them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
You’ll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support, adapt learning where needed, and create a calm, nurturing environment where every child has the chance to succeed.

What you’ll be doing:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN in KS1
• Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs, including EHCP targets
• Supporting early development in Phonics, communication and social skills
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress
• Creating a safe, structured and encouraging environment for every child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
