Overview:
An innovative and fast-scaling global retail solutions provider is seeking a highly accomplished Regional Vice President to lead commercial operations across EMEA. This executive will be responsible for driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of intelligent retail technologies, including physical and digital solutions tailored for modern omnichannel environments.
The role requires a strategic commercial leader capable of navigating complex, multi-country markets, while coaching and developing a diverse team of Country Managers and strategic sales professionals. Success will be defined by the expansion of enterprise accounts, the introduction of new solutions, and the development of a scalable sales and partner model.
Core Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a high-performing EMEA sales organization including Country Managers and regional teams, delivering results across new business, account growth, and partner performance.
* Define and execute regional go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of integrated retail technology and security solutions (both physical and digital).
* Own all aspects of the commercial strategy across multiple sectors: Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Grocery, DIY, Health & Beauty, Pharmacy, Sporting Goods, and Discount Retail.
* Expand relationships with strategic enterprise retail clients across departments such as Operations, Loss Prevention, Store Technology, and Merchandising.
* Guide the transition from traditional hardware solutions to connected platforms and software-enhanced services that enable in-store analytics, remote access, and loss prevention.
* Serve as the voice of the region to global leadership, contributing customer and market insights that inform product and business strategy.
* Manage and optimize both direct and indirect channels, including the onboarding and development of regional and local partners.
* Ensure forecasting accuracy, regional reporting, and effective use of CRM and performance tools.
* Represent the company at industry events, retail technology forums, and executive-level customer meetings.
Ideal Background:
* Proven success in leading sales and business development teams across EMEA in a retail-focused B2B environment.
* Background in retail enablement, loss prevention, IoT-enabled store solutions, or related technology verticals.
* A commercial leader with experience managing revenue in the $25M–$75M range, delivering both hardware and service-based solutions.
* Track record of growing key accounts, landing new customers, and introducing innovative solutions into traditional retail environments.
* Extensive network and influence with enterprise retailers at VP and C-level across multiple functions.
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-cultural teams, including remote and in-market Country Managers.
* Strong command of software-enabled solution selling, with the ability to align commercial outcomes to operational and business KPIs.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
