We're recruiting 2 Senior Care Assistants to join our well-established residential care home in Newcastle upon Tyne, part of a respected care organisation specialising in elderly and dementia care.
Shifts
* Days - 8am to 8pm
* Nights - 8pm to 8am
* 36 to 48 hours per week, paid breaks included
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the care team during your shift
* Deliver safe, high-quality care tailored to residents' individual needs
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living
* Administer medication and maintain accurate records
* Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
* Ensure smooth handovers and respond to any issues or emergencies
Requirements
* Experience in a care home setting (elderly or dementia care preferred)
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* Confident team leader with strong communication skills
* Medication trained and familiar with care planning
