Import Bookings Clerk – Felixstowe Our client in Felixstowe is seeking an Import Bookings Clerk to join their busy freight forwarding team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics. Key Responsibilities * Manage and process import bookings for sea freight shipments. * Arrange and confirm delivery schedules with customers and hauliers. * Request container releases and liaise with shipping lines. * Use Destin8 and CNS systems for tracking and documentation. * Assist with basic sea freight bookings and related administrative tasks. * Support the team with general import operations. Skills & Experience * Previous experience in freight forwarding, import operations, or transport planning (essential). * Knowledge of Destin8 and CNS systems (preferred). * Basic understanding of sea freight processes. * Customs clearance knowledge is an advantage but not essential. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good telephone manner and attention to detail.
