The Traffic and Road Safety Team is dedicated to improving road safety and managing the movement of traffic across the County. They investigate issues, develop safety schemes and work with partners and communities to reduce collisions and improve travel conditions.

As part of the recruitment process you will need to

Attend an in‑person recruitment day on Thursday 9th or Friday 10th July 2026.

If you are successful at the recruitment day you will be invited to attend an interview with the team on the 30th or 31st July 2026.

You must be available for these dates as no alternative dates will be available.

The Welsh language is integral to the identity of Carmarthenshire and its people. If you dont currently meet the Welsh language standard that we need for this role, we will work together on your Welsh language journey and help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this position.

Level 3 – You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
