Immediate Start | Temporary 6-Month Contract | Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5pm | £12.21/hr
Pharmacy Assistant is urgently required for Antrim Area Hospital. This temporary 6-month contract offers the possibility of extension depending on business needs and provides a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Receiving, checking, and shelving pharmacy items
* Accurately recording delivery documentation on the JAC system
* Preparing regular orders, managing stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates
* Assembling and issuing daily ward orders
What we need from you:
* Experience assisting pharmacists or pharmacy technicians
* Experience using computer systems for stock management
* Understanding of pharmacy operations, stock management, and medication handling
