Description Early Years Research, Information & Data Officer Permanent Grade C - £35,412 - £41,771 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week, hybrid working, combining working from home with time in our Birmingham offices. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Early Years Research, Information & Data Officer to join our Data, Performance and Information Team. In this vital role, you will: Support effective data management, reporting and ICT systems across Early Years and Childcare services. Analyse complex data sets and produce high‑quality reports, dashboards and performance metrics. Contribute to statutory reporting, including Freedom Of Information requests and performance related data requests. Work collaboratively with ICT, service leads and government colleagues to enhance system performance and data quality. Support system development, user acceptance testing, and ongoing improvements to Early Years digital tools. We are looking for someone with experience in data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Power Apps, Advanced Excel), and a methodical, collaborative approach to managing a diverse workload.
