About the Role:
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will be at the heart of our customer interactions and play a vital role as the face of our business. Whether over the phone, by email, or in person, you will ensure every customer enjoys a positive experience. From supporting major accounts to assisting our long-standing customers and site visitors, you will be central to how we connect with our partners. This role is a key hub linking our customers with the wider business, working closely with our sales team, logistics partners, and factories to ensure a seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process, manage, and fulfill sales orders received via email and telephone.
* Respond to daily customer queries and complaints, ensuring a positive experience across all communication channels.
* Collaborate with logistics and warehousing teams to manage stock effectively.
* Work closely with the sales team to proactively service and support the customer base.
* Manage export documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Handle reception and site visitor duties alongside core customer service responsibilities as needed.
* Undertake any other reasonable management instructions to the expected standard, supporting the overall business.
* Lead the Engagement Group and assist in organizing social activities, including the annual Christmas party.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in customer service within manufacturing or FMCG, ideally in Food or Food Retail.
* Proven ability to manage customer enquiries, complaints, and orders efficiently.
* Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance processes.
* Strong communication skills, able to build rapport quickly with customers and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and motivated to lead engagement and social initiatives.
