Are you a patient and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping students with additional needs succeed?
Schools in Rotherham and GSL Education are looking for a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored classroom support.
As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may require extra support with learning, communication, or behaviour. You will help create a positive and inclusive environment where students feel confident and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEN pupils.
* Assist with learning activities and classroom tasks.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans.
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting SEN pupils or in a similar role.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Good understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
