Business Development Manager – (North West England)

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance

Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth across the North West of England. This role is based from North West of England in Warrington and focuses on developing new business within mechanical, electrical, scaffolding, insulation and coating services. You will work with key industrial clients across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, Process and Pharmaceutical.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth and deliver sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Achieve sales, pipeline and gross profit targets across the region.
* Build and maintain strong networks with customers, prospects and industry partners.
* Identify new business leads, market trends and emerging opportunities.
* Support the growth of established market sectors and develop fledgling ones.
* Lead commercial negotiations and ensure new contracts align with operational capability.
* Use CRM tools to track opportunities and manage business development activity effectively.
* Maintain excellent customer relationships at a senior level, ensuring long‑term retention and satisfaction.
* Provide regional market intelligence and competitor insight to support strategic planning.
* Promote a high‑performance sales culture and collaborate closely with Operations on key accounts.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience selling mechanical, electrical, scaffolding, insulation or coating services (essential).
* Background within Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, Process or Pharmaceutical sectors.
* Strong track record in business development, sales conversion and value‑based selling.
* Experience with multi‑discipline maintenance frameworks, construction projects or turnarounds.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel across the North West and wider UK when required.
