Position

Teacher-Mathematics

Location: International Study Centre-University of Exeter

Salary: £18.51 per hour(£36,094 annual FTE)

Band: D

Contract type: Zero Hours

We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our academic team at University of Exeter International Study Centre on a flexible, zero hours basis. This role is central to helping international students develop the subject knowledge and academic skills they need to progress to undergraduate and postgraduate study at the University.

You will teach across a range of programmes including Foundation and Graduate Diploma, working with students from many different cultural and language backgrounds. The role combines classroom teaching with seminars and tutorials, alongside assessment and feedback to support student achievement. You will also contribute to the wider academic community, working with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning and ensuring that students are fully supported during their time at INTO.

We are seeking someone with a graduate qualification in a relevant subject and the ability to teach Mathematics confidently to students preparing for university study. A teaching qualification is desirable, although we welcome applications from those willing to work towards one. Most importantly, you will bring enthusiasm for your subject and a commitment to helping international students succeed.
