Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our Saturday Morning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate Children of pre school age.
Responsibilities
* Teach fundamental skills and techniques in various sports disciplines.
* Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
* Develop game strategies and prepare age appropriate sessions
* Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules and athlete development.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
* Level 2 in a sport, dance or gymnastics
* Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* First Aid certification (desired)
* Lead safe guarding training (desired)
Teaching Saturdays 8.45am am
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Experience:
* Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (required)
* Sports Coaching Level 2 Qualification (preferred)
