About the Role
You’ll be a Service Leader based in Skelmersdale, steering a team of support workers and helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities settle into their new homes and thrive day‑by‑day.
Responsibilities
* Guide a team of support workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care
* Support adults with day‑to‑day routines, personal care and activity planning, including holidays
* Ensure safe, high‑quality care for all individuals served
* Drive performance, set the pace and direction within services
* Promote a positive and passionate culture across the team
* Ensure services are appropriately and effectively resourced
What You’ll Bring

* Strong leadership experience within health & social care
* A genuine passion for helping people live independent, fulfilling lives
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours (a big plus!)
* Knowledge of autism or trauma‑informed care (even better!)

* Experience developing and managing intensive support plans
* Committed to helping people feel part of their local community
* Comfortable using basic IT systems
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or above – desirable
* Relevant experience in a health or social care setting
