Zip Water is a global leader in providing advanced drinking water solutions, including filtered boiling, chilled, and sparkling water.

As the Customer Development and Retention Specialist you will support the growth of the business within the current customer base and potential new customers.

Your day to day focus will be selling to, retaining and growing revenue under management within the key and direct to end user accounts, as well as managing client queries with the assistance of the Customer Experience team.

If you have a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously this could be the role for you!

The development of a prospect into a larger opportunity is also a vital element of the role.

* Contribute to the delivery of both the quarterly and annual sales target and build our future revenue stream
* Maintain and grow new and existing business relationships
* Work towards your Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and demonstrate an understanding of how you will achieve these in your 1-1 reviews
* Plan efficiently and organise your time to ensure you achieve expected sales outcomes
* Work effectively and flexibly to support other team members to meet targets across the full portfolio of products and services
* Maintain customer account information by recording all activity, data, and issues on the CRM system (Salesforce)
* Work with internal teams to ensure all customer queries are resolved seamlessly by Zip
* Site visits and Prospecting – to become familiar with carrying out site surveys on occasion to ensure a high first-time installation rate; this activity will be a shadowing role initially.
* Forecasting – To keep the Key account forecast file up to date in time for the weekly KA meetings to ensure an accurate forecast vs. target is maintained.

As the Customer Development and Retention Specialist you will be a strong negotiator and good with objection handling. You will be a natural problem solver, happy managing data and comfortable successfully nurturing leads and cases.
