We are currently supporting Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) looking to begin their teaching careers across secondary schools in Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, build confidence, and work across a variety of school settings while deciding on your preferred long-term direction.
We are also able to offer work to student teachers who have completed their final PGCE placement, meaning you can begin supply work immediately while awaiting full qualification status.

As a newly qualified teacher you’ll be expected to:
1. Hold QTS status and actively work towards your induction
2. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
3. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
4. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
5. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
6. Maintain discipline
7. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
8. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
9. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
10. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
11. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
