The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious, proactive and creative Digital Marketing Lead ready to take ownership of our marketing efforts. You’ll shape how Smithfield presents itself, while also supporting our partners with smart, effective digital marketing strategies.
This role is perfect for someone who loves both strategy and execution: thinking big, moving fast, and getting hands-on with content, campaigns, and analytics.
You’ll be trusted to lead initiatives, experiment with new ideas, and directly impact how our studio grows.
What You’ll Do
* Lead marketing strategy and execution – from planning to delivery.
* Grow and manage our social media presence with engaging, consistent content.
* Develop SEO strategies to improve visibility and drive new leads.
* Create content – blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and website updates that tells our story.
* Analyse campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
* Collaborate with our design and development teams to produce creative marketing materials.
* Work directly with some of our partners to plan and deliver their own marketing initiatives.
* Bring new ideas to the table and drive them forward independently.
About You
* At least 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within a creative or agency environment.
* Confident leading projects and managing your own workload.
* Strong grasp of SEO, content marketing, and social strategy.
* Excellent communicator – both written and verbal.
* Comfortable liaising with partners and contributing ideas in meetings.
* Based in (or able to travel to) Kent, with the ability to work from our Canterbury studio at least one day per week.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
* Experience with paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
* Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.).
* Knowledge of creative tools (Figma, Canva, or Adobe Suite).
