GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming school in Derby. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging Early Years lessons, support children’s holistic development, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Role Overview: As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that promote development across all areas of the Early Years curriculum. You will encourage children’s curiosity, independence, and social skills, helping them build confidence as they begin their educational journey. As an EYFS Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons across the EYFS curriculum. Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to guide learning. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children’s development. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare. Requirements for EYFS Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in an EYFS setting. Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
