Are you ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? At Butlin’s, we’re on the lookout for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team! You’ll play a crucial role in delivering our delicious food propositions while working alongside our talented Sous Chef and Head Chef.
About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will:
* Manage Your Section: Take charge of a specific area in the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes that meet our brand standards.
* Lead a Team: Oversee and mentor a small team of commis chefs, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Enhance Your Skills: Participate in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy, designed to help you grow and progress in your culinary career.
* Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with food safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
* Prepare Delicious Dishes: Follow pre-approved recipes and complete daily food diaries while managing budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
* Experienced: Previous experience in a similar role is essential, but we’re also excited to hear from those ready to step up!
* Hardworking and Determined: A reliable team player who is always looking for ways to improve and deliver our brand standards.
* Energetic and Enthusiastic: Someone who brings high spirits and fun to the kitchen, understanding the impact of their role on guest experiences.
* Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you’ll also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met. We believe our chefs are special, and our guests love returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience. Working Conditions
Typical working hours are five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week.
