Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: PMB ACCOUNTANTS LIMITED The successful candidate will carry out a range of administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, maintaining digital financial records and responding to support requests by phone and email.
Responsibilities
* Digitise paper-based and legacy bookkeeping records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper organisation.
* Maintain and manage digital financial records in line with record-keeping and data security standards.
* Provide support for cloud accounting platforms (including setup, configuration, and day-to-day use).
* Assist users with navigating accounting software and understanding core bookkeeping functions.
* Troubleshoot software issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors, escalating complex issues when required.
* Respond to support requests via email, phone, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Support basic user training and onboarding for accounting software.
* Follow internal procedures and compliance requirements relating to data protection and financial records.
* Identify opportunities to improve digitisation workflows and software support processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Good IT skills with emphasis on data entry and attention to detail.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* Customer service skills.
Desirable Skills
* Proficiency with cloud accounting software namely Xero.
* Understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple task simultaneously.

The Employer is: PMB ACCOUNTANTS LIMITED JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information -Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. -Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. -Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
