The Role
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of forklifts and related equipment on-site at customer locations. This role offers a mix of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving in the field. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers in a professional manner whilst on location.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on forklifts and material handling equipment
* Conduct routine maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer guidelines
* Provide on-site technical support and advice to customers
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
What We\'re Looking For
* Proven experience working as a field service engineer in the forklift or materials handling sector
* CFTS qualified & Thorough Examination certified
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
* Full UK driving licence
