Safeguarding & Attendance Officer - Key Stage
Salary: Grade F SCP17 SCP23. Actual salary £26,534 - £29,453. 37 hours per week. Term Time Plus 5 days.
We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage Safeguarding and Attendance Officer to join our pastoral team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and academic engagement of our students. You will act as a primary point of contact for safeguarding concerns, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to implement protective measures and support vulnerable learners. You will also support the attendance of key students, monitor attendance patterns, identify barriers to learning, and proactively engage with families and external agencies to improve student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) and will demonstrate resilience and empathy to remove barriers to education and foster a secure environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Deep understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE).
* Experience in safeguarding, attendance monitoring, and working with external agencies is desirable.
* Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remove barriers to education.
