We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to join the team at our busy, high-volume pub. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is ready to support the day-to-day running of a successful venue.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations across the bar and floor. You’ll help lead the team, maintain high service standards, and play a key role in driving sales and hitting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the overall management of the pub’s daily operations
* Lead shifts and ensure excellent customer service at all times
* Train, motivate, and develop front-of-house team members
* Help manage stock, ordering, and stock control processes
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company standards
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Drive sales and contribute to achieving business targets
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail
* Good understanding of sales driving and team performance
The Package
* Salary: £35,000 per year
* Bonus incentives based on performance and targets achieved
* Full-time position: 5 days per week
