JOB TITLE: LECTURER - HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
LOCATION: KINGS LYNN
HOURS: 37 PER WEEK
SALARY: £30,530 - £38,500 PER ANNUM
Due to internal progression, CWA are recruiting for a full time lecturer in Health and Social Care. The Health and Social Care Department offers a range of courses including GCSE 14-16 Programme, level 1-3 Health and Social Care courses, and a T‑level in Health and Adult Counselling courses at our Wisbech Campus. We are seeking a dedicated professional to complement our strong team who shares the department values: collaboration, expectation, and communication.
Whether you have a teaching background or are a Health or Social Care professional in industry seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.

This is an exciting and challenging role working with learners looking to forge a career in health or social care. We have close links with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn, enabling us to design and implement a curriculum that meets local community needs.

Responsibilities
* Deliver and develop Health and Social Care courses across levels 2, 3 and T Level provision, in line with skills and qualifications.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum relevance and alignment with industry needs.
* Support learners to develop personal and professional skills and prepare them for careers in health or social care.
* Engage with local industry links (including Queen Elizabeth Hospital) to inform curriculum design.
* Contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of students in a college environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
* Health or Social Care professional background in industry is welcomed.
* Salary progression may depend on experience and teaching qualifications; appointments to higher scales typically require a level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.
