Electrical Wiring Technician Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision? We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, whether it’s wiring complex assemblies, soldering with accuracy or making sure everything works perfectly before it moves to the next stage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a collaborative environment and has a keen eye for detail. The Role You’ll be building and wiring both prototype and production equipment, working from engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and sketches. Every day will be varied and you’ll have the chance to solve problems, suggest improvements and work alongside a passionate team, all while meeting production deadlines and maintaining high quality standards. Building wiring looms and assembling connectors Routing and fitting complex wiring to enclosures and mechanical structures Precision soldering and finishing of terminations Checking and testing your own work to ensure everything is wired correctly before the next stage Highlighting any changes or improvements to designs or processes Keeping your workspace organised and safe Working closely with production control and purchasing teams to manage material requirements Occasionally visiting customer sites to support projects (travel may be required) Supporting with tool calibration when neededRequirements: Previous experience in an electrical wiring role Ability to work independently and use your own initiative Basic mechanical assembly skills Experience working in a start-up or pilot production environment Knowledge of wiring standards within specialist or highly regulated industries Experience terminating and splicing fibre optic assemblies Computer literate Detail-focused and methodical with a drive for quality Positive, enthusiastic and willing to roll up your sleeves Adaptable and resilient, happy to take on new challenges A strong team player who communicates well and works collaboratively Highly organised, conscientious and reliableSecurity Clearance Due to the nature of our work, successful candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
