Ideal Candidate
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are eager to work, enjoy working within a team, are willing to follow instructions and procedures, support colleagues, multi‑task, think on their feet, spot problems and find solutions, and remain calm and sense of humour in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Your role will be to provide licensing‑related advice via email, telephone, and occasionally face‑to‑face meetings with the general public, licence holders, and a wide range of stakeholders; and to review and process applications and issue licences. You will also handle complaints about licence holders, carry out vetting checks of applicants and existing licence holders, and assist your colleagues in the Licensing Team with the general day‑to‑day activities of the Service.
Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge of licensing legislation or experience of working in a regulatory role would be desirable. Experience in a busy customer service or administrative role would also be helpful.
We value a willingness to be trained, to learn, to take advice, to work hard, and to be hungry to make a positive difference to your life and the lives of others.
