An opportunity is available for a Team Leader working in Ty Coch, reporting to the Field Operations Team Manager. The role involves leading a team of Trades Persons.
The main focus is to lead an efficient and productive team across a region, ensuring compliance with H&S policies, coordinating work programmes, maximizing delivery efficiencies, providing team development and authorizations, and managing performance on a 1:1 basis.
This role is vital for driving performance and supporting large teams in the field, contributing to service improvements for over 8 million customers.
The starting salary is £43,491, subject to successful training completion.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety regulations
* Scheduling work activities efficiently
* Collaborating with other teams to manage workload
* Driving team productivity and managing individual performance
* Maintaining a full work schedule for the team
* Providing appropriate training and work authorizations for team safety and productivity
* Responding promptly and professionally to customer complaints
Ideal Candidate
The candidate should be an excellent communicator with team management experience and experience as an escalation point for both the team and external customers.
* Understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002, and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
* Organized with strong problem-solving skills and forward planning abilities
* Good relationship-building skills with customers
* Ability to manage performance effectively
* Knowledge of craft roles or willingness to learn quickly
* NRSWA qualification or understanding of NRSWA legislation is desirable; full training can be provided.
This role requires a satisfactory DBS check, with screening levels depending on the specific role. Some roles require triannual checks.
