 
        What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Finance Visitor REF: 000A 7AF6 / 1 Pay rate: £18.36 per hour (PAYE) Role length: 5-month assignment Job type: Hybrid Location: Blackpool, FY1 3AH Postcode: FY1 3AH Hours: Full time Contract Type: Temporary The role: Join the Adult Social Care team in Blackpool as a Finance Visitor, helping residents access financial support for care and daily living. You’ll visit people in their homes or care settings, complete financial assessments, and offer compassionate advice to help maximise income and reduce debt. Key Responsibilities: Conduct home and care setting visits to assess financial circumstances. Support customers with benefit applications and income maximisation. Advise on care charging and financial policies. Manage debt recovery discussions and maintain accurate records. Liaise with internal teams and external agencies such as the DWP. Report safeguarding concerns and follow lone working procedures. What the client is looking for: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Essential). Strong knowledge of welfare benefits and debt recovery. Excellent communication, negotiation, and numerical skills. Experience working with vulnerable people in a front-line advisory role. Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
