As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the hotel's bar and restaurant, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, profitability, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, team management, and guest service in a dynamic and fast-paced branded hospitality environment.
What will I do?
1. Preparation of the Restaurant & Bar areas for service, following company standards, brand and procedures
2. Be knowledgeable about food & drink content to be able to advise guests when they are placing orders
3. Provide a friendly, courteous and discreet service
4. Supervision of food, wine & beverages
5. Ensure staffing levels to accommodate requirements
6. Deal with any issues and complaints which may arise
7. Monitor & manage restaurant & bar inventory, ordering
8. Maximise revenue whereever possible and ensure team are upselling at every opportunity
9. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure menus meet quality and company presentation standards
10. Ensure hygiene & cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
11. Support other F&B areas as and when required, including Conference & Events
Is this the role for me?
12. Previous experience in an F&B management role
13. You'll be an operational, hands on manager and lead by example
14. Relevant qualifications in either food service management, hospitality management
15. Up to date knowledge of F&B trends and best practice
16. Good knowledge of wines & spirits
17. Standards driven and know what 'good looks like'
