My client is a well established engineering business in the UK and is seeking to recruit a capable IT Technician to support it's internal sales and operations teams with their IT problems.
As the IT Technician your key resposibilities will include ;-
1st line support, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues quickly & efficiently
Helpdesk activities on a variety of back office applications
Optimising the efficiency and performance of the IT function to maintain the integrity of the company IT systems
To maintain, develop and improve the company wide network and associated serversInstalling and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
Hardware and Software support
You will be an accomplished IT Technician with extensive experinece in the following;:-
Windows 10 & 11 Administration & Support Active Directory Administration, new user setups (User Accounts, O365 Mailboxes) Networking knowledge covering ADSL Broadband, Local Area Networks, Switches & VLan’s Understand cabling needs for IT/Telephone System Jobs
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential
