Role Purpose:
The Accounts Payable Manager will support the existing finance team in processing Vendor Invoices, reconciling Vendor ledgers, dealing with queries, and ensuring prompt and accurate payments.
Role Responsibilities:
Overall responsibilities include:
* ·Day to day management of the Accounts Payable process across 3 businesses (Impero, Netop & Content
* ·Keeper), including posting of all accounts payable invoices.
* ·Streamline accounts payable process to achieve best in class AP processing metrics and significantly reduce current wrap around time.
* ·Ad hoc project work – including supporting move to new finance ERP system (Netsuite).
* ·Proactively liaise with managers to promptly resolve invoice and purchase order differences.
* ·Continually improve performance, issue resolution and process.
* ·Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager as required
* ·Be able to identify and assist in the implementation of improvements within the Accounts Payable team to streamline work processes.
* ·Processing manual and electronic invoices to the Finance systems
* ·Interpret data from Finance system to reconcile Supplier accounts and resolve complex queries.
* ·Liaise with purchasing to arrange corrections to purchase orders.
* ·Work as a point of contact for the business and Suppliers for all invoice and payment related queries.
* ·Liaise with the wider Finance team to ensure deadlines are met.
* ·Management of vendor payments to enable tighter cash management.
* ·Provide cash-flow forecast on monthly basis for current vendor payments.
Required skills/experience/qualifications:
* ·5+ years experience of working as a Transactional Accounting professional with experience of leading projects and gaining results.
* ·Must have excellent understanding of the Accounts Payable processes.
* ·Must be confident and experienced in working within an extremely fast-paced environment.
* ·Experience working in technology industry preferred.
* ·Experience working across multiple currencies.
* ·Will have strong organisational skills.
* ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* ·Excellent IT skills essential with proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* ·Experience of Netsuite is an advantage, but not essential.
Our office is based in central Nottingham and we would require for this person to attend the office minimum two days a week when rest of the team are in.
This is a full time permanent position.
