Pay: £12.25 per hour
Hours: Part time or Full time
We’re opening Wain House – a stunning, purpose-built home designed for outstanding residential and dementia care – and we’re looking for roles. This is your chance to be there from day one, shaping the heart of a place that will feel like home for residents, families, and staff alike. We’re now recruiting for Part time or Full time Kitchen Assistant to join our founding team. If you’re ready to make a real impact and help shape a service from day one — we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Hours: Part time or Full time role available
* Prepping fresh ingredients – fruits, veggies, and more
* Helping serve meals and ensuring mealtimes are a warm, welcoming experience
* Keeping the kitchen and dining areas spotless and safe
* Supporting our Chef with meal planning, guided by the needs and preferences of our residents
* Championing hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards every day
Essential qualifications
* A kind, understanding nature – you’ll be working closely with older people
* Enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn
* A true team player
Desirable qualifications
* City & Guilds or similar catering qualification
* Knowledge of food hygiene, cultural diets, and nutrition
* Environmental Health Certificate in Food Hygiene
