About the Role
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer? Would you enjoy maintaining our iconic historical building? We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at De Vere Horsley Estate, East Horsley. As a Maintenance Engineer you will work as part of the maintenance team responsible for ensuring the property is kept to a high standard. You will also assist the Maintenance Manager with risk management in your areas of responsibility, covering Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, DDA and Fire Safety, ensuring the venue is fully compliant with all legislative responsibilities. This is a full‑time role that involves working weekends.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the maintenance team to keep the property at a high standard.
* Assist the Maintenance Manager with risk management across Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, DDA and Fire Safety.
* Ensure the venue remains fully compliant with all legislative responsibilities.
* Prioritise work efficiently and keep people informed on planned completion timelines.
* Work weekends as part of a full‑time role.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience of Maintenance Engineer work, including plumbing, electrics and decorating.
* Ability to prioritise work efficiently and keep people informed of planned completion timelines.
* Enthusiastic team player who enjoys working as part of a support team.
