The client is an elite US firm enjoying strong financial performance and a mandate to grow in Europe.
The work is exclusively private equity, covering a mix of upper mid market LBO's, some large cap mandates, special sits investing and growth equity. The practice gets a lot of repeat deals and has built a strong reputation for its cohesive and team-driven approach to dealmaking.
You will work with a stable and united bench of high quality partners and peers.
Crucially, the pathway to partner here is much clearer than many other peer firms. There is a real chance to be made up within a few years to a not insignificant partner tier.
This could be an excellent option for someone looking to make a step in earnings from a UK firm, or someone crowded out at the senior end in a magic circle or another US shop.
