As an Electrician at Great Places you will undertake all aspects of Electrical works including Responsive Repairs, Testing (EICR), Inspection and Installation on day‑to‑day, void and planned workstreams across all property types within the Great Places portfolio.
Remuneration & Working Hours
£42,394 per annum
Cheshire & High Peak
42‑hour week, with out of hours cover every 1 in 4 weekends and payment for out of hours work
Leave & Equipment
26 days annual leave initially, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays
Van, fuel card, uniform and tools provided
Key Qualifications
* Full clean driving licence
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation (Buildings & Structures)
* C&G 2382‑18 Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition
* C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ driving experience for van fleet insurance, and completion of an online driver monitoring assessment before starting
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and execute Responsive Maintenance to achieve a ‘first‑time fix’ and high customer satisfaction, treating customers with respect and empathy.
* Deliver first‑class service, leaving customers’ homes clean and safe.
* Carry out inspections, tests and remedial work in void properties.
* Use the mobile device for job allocation, data transfer, and collection.
* Attend emergency appointments, including out of hours.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Comply with all statutory legislation, licences and accreditations, including the relevant Safety Management System for Responsive Maintenance.
