Location: Plymouth
Salary: 24,000 - 26,000 Per Annum
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Agent in Plymouth, where you'll uphold site safety standards, maintain inventory and financial controls, and assist in transport planning through effective customer data management. This customer-focused role requires excellent customer service skills across various communication platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Support site management in compliance, inventory, financial, health and safety, and transport operations.
* Promote a safety-first environment and work towards an incident-free workplace.
* Place delivery/collection orders using SAP.
* Handle inbound/outbound calls for customer orders and queries.
* Process orders, refunds, credits, and cylinder refill agreements.
* Manage stock receipt and dispatch on trailers.
* Conduct physical stock counts and update inventory systems.
* Raise purchase orders and maintain appropriate stock levels.
* Review daily aborts, cancellations, and returns.
* Assist drivers with daily runs, loading sheets, and manifests.
* Monitor drivers via Telematics system.
* Complete agency timesheets and perform general housekeeping.
Do you/are you:
* Have customer service experience with a positive attitude.
* Possess excellent organizational skills as an administrator.
* Work well in a team, supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
* Be flexible and committed to meet business needs.
* Take ownership of tasks, especially safety-related.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Tru Tac.
* Be articulate with attention to detail.
