Full time Teaching Assistant - ASAP start
Axcis Education is supporting a SEN school in Trowbridge in recruiting a SEN teaching assistant to work full time, starting ASAP. The role involves working with primary-aged children with complex needs and autism, including non-verbal students. The school is part of a wider network of SEN schools in Wiltshire, catering to various special needs from ages 5 to 18. The school has a family-oriented environment and offers training opportunities and strong support networks. Class sizes typically do not exceed 15 pupils.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
* Ideally has experience with special needs, from either a special needs or mainstream school
* Is imaginative, patient, and empathetic in responding to pupil needs
* Has a calm, patient, and resilient approach with a passion for supporting young learners
An enhanced DBS check on the update service is required. If you're seeking teaching work with flexible commitment, this could be the role for you.
