Title: Automation Project Manager - Global Pharma Location: Near Watford
My client is a leading research based pharmaceutical organisation with an extensive portfolio across the Oncology, Neurology and Pain therapy areas.
As a Automation Engineer you will perform automation engineering activities and manage aligned prioritised projects.
Lifecycle management of automation systems integrated with manufacturing / packaging equipment.
Lifecycle management of serialisation and vision systems integrated within packaging equipment including interfaces with enterprise systems.
Practical experience working within manufacturing and packaging environments
Experience of the automation project lifecycle including design, configuration, implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and validation
Practical experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
Practical experience working with Siemens PLCs and HMI software
Experience of working with SQL databases / Historians
Degree (or HNC/HND) qualification in engineering, computer science, automation, or related engineering discipline
Project management certification (i.e. CAPM / PMP)
