Overview
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Woodlands Veterinary Centre, Haslemere. The main role is to run nurse consultations and to assist the veterinary surgeon with procedures and operations.
Employment details
This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are 8:00am–6:00pm on weekdays. There will be 1 Saturday morning per month from 8:00am–12:00pm to support the Vet and perform nurse clinics, with no out-of-hours or long weekends.
About the practice
Haslemere is a beautifully compact site with 2 consultation areas and a kennel room leading off the preparation area. The waiting area is large and separated into cats and dogs. We are located in the beautiful South Downs, close to the coast and London with good transport links to Europe. We work closely with the neighbourhood Cat’s Protection Adoption Centre, visiting weekly for health checks and any necessary treatments.

* We welcome all levels of experience post-qualification for our RVN positions; however, you should be kind, energetic, have a positive can-do attitude, be able to use your initiative, and use time and resources effectively.
* You will have good interpersonal skills with a passion for all aspects of general nursing and instinctively want to go the extra mile to provide the best care to patients.
* You should be an excellent communicator with confidence in performing nurse clinics and be able to develop new nurse clinics of your choosing.
