The CFCD CBRS Grade 7 (G7) leads the Directorate’s approach to ensuring compliance with Security, Data, and Information requirements. This role involves leading CFCD responses to briefings and requests for FOIs and other departmental inquiries through a Briefing Hatch function, identifying and mitigating key risks, and implementing effective controls to maintain CFCD security.
As a team leader of a small group, collaboration and close working with your team are essential in this role.
The G7 is responsible for delivering core functions including:
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate CFCD Risks, aligning with the DWP Risk Management Framework, and providing narratives for inclusion in the DWP Services and Fraud Risk Plan.
* Reporting risks and mitigation activities to inform the Performance Risk and Deployment Board and executive decisions.
* Integrating risk awareness into routine business activities.
* Working with fraud, error, and debt (FED) Policy and CFCD Functional areas to respond effectively to briefings via the CFCD Briefing Hatch function, ensuring timely responses.
* Enhancing the Briefing Hatch function to meet increasing FOI requests and evolving briefing needs.
* Collaborating with DWP Security and Information Management to ensure compliance, manage risks, and develop improvement plans.
* Delivering security, data, and information awareness programs to promote continuous compliance improvement.
* Developing and managing the CFCD Business Continuity Plan within the DWP framework.
* Coordinating activities to ensure business-level Business Continuity Plans are established and tested.
* Supporting and maintaining access to small portals and establishing new processes as needed.
* Supporting the DWP ID Badging Process to assist colleagues requiring identification when visiting customers.
This role involves frequent travel and overnight stays due to the team’s dispersed locations.
