We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Earls Hall (WestCliffe-on Sea).
Location: Earls Hall (WestCliffe-on Sea)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 31.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern
* Monday 2-8
* Tuesday 8-2
* Wednesday 8-2
* Thursday 2-8
* 8-2 / 2-8 (alternating)
* 1:4 Saturdays
Must be flexible to accommodate changes to work pattern to cover annual leave and sickness, including at our other branches.

About the role
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
Requirements
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
