Team Leader – Children's Residential Care - Full-Time - On-Site
Location: Greenford (UB6)
Hours: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | On-site | Varied shifts (may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank and public holidays)
We're on the lookout for a confident and experienced Children's Residential Team Leader to help guide our dedicated care staff and provide stability, direction, and inspiration to the young people we support.
In this leadership role, you'll support the day-to-day running of the home while ensuring care practices are safe, consistent, and in line with both regulatory standards and our core values. You'll work closely with the management team, leading by example and empowering colleagues to deliver the highest quality of care.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting young people with complex needs in a warm, supportive residential setting
* Assisting in the delivery and monitoring of personalised care plans
* Offering hands-on support during shifts, modelling excellent care practices
* Keeping accurate, up-to-date documentation on care, behaviour and progress
* Providing mentorship to junior staff and contributing to team development
* Ensuring safeguarding and regulatory standards are always met
* Playing an active role in creating a nurturing, structured home environment
About You:
To thrive in this position, you'll need:
* You must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). This is an Ofsted requirement.
* You must have experience with working with children and young people in an Ofsted Regulated home.
* You must be dedicated to providing outstanding care
* You must be suitable to work with Children. A DBS Certificate is a requirement for the role.
* A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
* A passion for creating lasting positive change in children's lives
