Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Eccles (September Start)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded, inclusive primary school inWythenshaweto recruit a dedicatedYear 3 Teaching Assistant. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) is set to begin inSeptemberand involves supporting pupils withSpecial Educational Needs (SEN)on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is committed to providing abroad and balanced curriculumthat meets the needs of all learners. You’ll be part of a supportive team working to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Your Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help create an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil development
* Monitor and encourage progress, adapting support as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Level 2 Safeguardingcertification (training can be provided if not yet obtained)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
