Vehicle Technician | Mechanic | Automotive Engineer | Service Technician | Garage Technician
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop based in Wednesbury. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who is confident carrying out full vehicle repairs, servicing, and mechanical work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
Perform engine repairs, timing belts, cambelts, clutches, gearboxes, and braking systems
Conduct diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs using diagnostic equipment
Work on suspension, steering, exhaust systems, and electrical faults
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA / manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Strong knowledge of engine work, timing belts, clutches, and mechanical repairs
Experience using diagnostic tools and fault-finding equipment
Background in garage, dealership, fleet, or commercial vehicle environments
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 / Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills:
Experience in fast-fit, service centres, or high-volume workshops
