We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in manufacturing or industrial projects to join our clients team in Suffolk. This role will play a key part in managing costs, contracts, and commercial performance across manufacturing and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects. You will be based onsite in 3 days per week, working closely with the head of manufacturing, commercial and engineerinf stakeholders, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. Key Responsibilities Oversee commercial and cost management aspects of manufacturing and CAPEX projects Prepare, monitor, and control budgets, forecasts, and cash flow Manage tendering, procurement, and subcontractor agreements Administer contracts ensuring compliance and managing variations Conduct valuations Support with cost advice and risk management Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management Handle claims, change management, and dispute resolution as required Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within manufacturing, industrial, or engineering projects Excellent cost management, analytical, and negotiation skills Ideally experience in procurement, contract administration, and supplier management Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) Professional membership (RICS or similar) desirable What is Offered: Competitive salary Hybrid working (3 days onsite in Suffolk) Opportunity to work on complex manufacturing projects Supportive team environment with career development opportunities Please submit your cv asap.
