What You’ll Be Doing
* Work under guidance of a Lead Arborist alongside a Junior Arborist
* Preserve, plant, prune, and fell trees, hedgerows, and shrubs
* Operate a range of tools and machinery safely (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts)
* Respond to emergencies and maintain site safety
* Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused arboriculture services
* Support team best practice and ensure compliance with regulations
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as an Arborist or Tree Surgeon (pruning, felling, planting, maintaining tree health)
* Skilled in operating and maintaining arboricultural tools and machinery
* Knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and disease identification
* Strong health & safety awareness and ability to work at height
* Full UK driving licence and trailer entitlement
Qualifications
* City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra Level 3 in Arboriculture or Horticulture
* IPAF 3a, 3b, 1b (cherry picker/MEWP)
* CS30–CS40 chainsaw and pruning certifications
* NPTC chipper operations
* Other relevant arboriculture qualifications desirable
