As a QC Microbiology Specialist, you\'ll support technical operations through microbiological testing, data review, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. You\'ll be part of a collaborative team that values precision, innovation, and safety – working on exciting new development projects and contributing to a culture of excellence. This is a shift based position consisting of 4 on/4 off days 8am-7pm.


Key Responsibilities

* Perform and review microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
* Lead investigations into OOS/OOT results and support CAPA implementation
* Conduct environmental and utility monitoring in cleanroom and controlled environments
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure inspection-readiness
* Provide training in microbiological techniques and support team development
* Drive process improvements and support validation and project work


Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* Experience in a similar role in a GMP-regulated microbiology lab (pharma or biopharma)
* Proficiency in environmental monitoring, bioburden testing, and microbial identification
* Degree in a relevant life sciences subject (Microbiology preferred)
* Ability to work according to shift pattern (4 on/4 off days 8am-7pm)
