Location: Ground Floor, St Andrews, The Belfry, Watford, WD24 4WH
Hours: 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (1 in 4 Saturdays)

About You
As a Medical Equipment Driver you will safely transport fragile surgical instruments to and from each of our hospitals. You will collect clean instruments from our sterilisation unit, deliver them to our sites and collect any used contaminated instruments at the same time, before returning these to the sterilisation unit. On occasions there may be a requirement to transport other clinical equipment and stock items between our hospitals.

Responsibilities Of Our Medical Equipment Driver
* As scheduled by the Stores, Logistics and Procurement Manager, transport both sterile and contaminated surgical instruments between our regional hospitals.
* Ensure load is delivered in line with SpaMedica standards, on time and in good condition.
* Complete daily checks of the vehicle in accordance with the vehicle checking requirements, reporting any concerns to the Stores, Logistics and Procurement Manager.
* Ensure the accurate completion of paperwork and/or systems in line with processes.
* Utilise the manual handling training provided to ensure safe working practices are always adhered to.
* Communicate effectively, providing the highest quality service to each of our hospitals.
* Maintain a safe environment within the vehicle for transporting fragile equipment.
* Complete any other deliveries as required by the business. These may include clinical stock, equipment or medical records.
